Marco Pintore and Judit Nagy join the management committee of GenoTher, the biocluster dedicated to accelerating the development of gene therapies, from research to industrial production, certified under the France 2030 Plan, as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively.
Marco Pintore,
Chief Executive Officer
With a PhD in biochemistry, Marco Pintore has worked successively at the
interface between the world of academic research, the private and
entrepreneurial sector, and the institutional environment, with a focus on
innovation in healthcare. Initially deputy director of a laboratory at the University
of Orleans, he co-founded and ran R&D and innovation financing consulting
services companies for 15 years. After heading the BioValley France health
competitiveness cluster between 2017 and 2022, Marco Pintore spent the last
three years as Senior VP of a large group in the contract research sector. As
CEO of GenoTher, Marco Pintore will coordinate the various components
of the biocluster, including the establishment of scientific and
technological platforms and the close monitoring of their operations and economic activities,
the implementation and monitoring of training, entrepreneurship, and business creation
initiatives, and public-private industrialization and innovation projects between GenoTher
members.
Judit Nagy,
Administrative and Financial Director
With a demanding academic background in political science, finance, and history, and more than 20 years of international and multi sector experience in financial management in France and abroad, Judit Nagy takes over as Administrative and Financial Director of GenoTher. She will be responsible for structuring the biocluster’s operations and promoting effective collaboration between the various partners and stakeholders involved.
